Lacerte art contemporain (Quebec) is proud to present the recent works of François Vincent. This exhibition brings together some 20 works on paper and canvas.

« Each of his works is a portable room. It is enough to install it somewhere to be able to withdraw and to find one-on-one with the artist, but also with oneself. A formula of François Vincent, « table of chevet », effectively summarizes the scope of this experiment. From the mysterious appearance of the place, there is, in short, the feeling that it belongs to them. It is, it seems to me, because they echo the echo of a confidence that has been addressed since the back-world of dreams and the psyche, where our identity floats and clings To all kinds of ageless images, now re-articulated by the painter with the help of his plastic grammar. How can we doubt then that his painting does not bring about a reconciliation between the two sides of intimacy, inner life and connection with the other? I like to think that the art of François Vincent consists in a reflection which evolves until the opening.  »
