Marc GARNEAU

Born in Thetford-Mines in 1956, Marc Garneau lives and works in Montreal. For forty years, he has been practicing printmaking and painting. Active in his environment with more than sixty individual exhibitions, the artist is also present on the international scene. His works have been presented in several countries: Austria, Germany, France, Holland, Mexico, Japan. Among other awards, in 1997 he win the Grand Prix de la Biennale du dessin, of Printing and Paper Matters in Quebec. His works can be found in several public collections: the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, the Musée national des beaux-arts de Québec, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Lower St. Lawrence Museum, the Musée de Joliette and the Art Bank of Canada. He is also in more than 30 corporate collections in Canada.
