François CHEVALIER

 

François Chevalier holds a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the Université Laval. He lives and works in Quebec City. Drawer, engraver, painter, his approach has favored, for ten years now, the realization of monotypes and the representation of insects. He made several in situ creation visits, notably at the Baie Saint-Paul Symposium in 1999. In 2001, he won also the Prix Videre-Reconnaissance, presented by the City of Quebec for the Prix d’excellence des arts et de la culture.
